The Challenge
The garden is quite tight (9.5m wide) and access is required to the lower area of the garden. Power is to come from the house as a generator could only be located on the pedestrian access.
The Solution
9m x 13.5m clearspan frame marquee with panoramic window walls, up-lighting, base wooden floor, carpet with 6ft trestle tables and Cheltenham beech banqueting style chairs. Ivory linings to the roof and to allow for the opening up of the marquee sides providing access to the lower half of the garden through the marquee, ivory curtains were used to dress the marquee legs.
The Lighting
Festoon lighting was supplied offering subtle roof lighting for the outside space and HQI lights were used to up-light and enhance a tree as a focal point within the garden.
The Power
The client’s electrician provided 2 x 13amp IP44 rated sockets within the basement, we could then plug long 32amp extension leads into these sockets and distribute the power within the marquee using our IP44 rated distribution boxes.
