How do I compare different marquee company quotes?
Once you have selected the marquee companies that you would like to quote for your event, It can be incredibly difficult to compare the quotes and ultimately decide which one to choose.
Do I Need a generator for my event
Large events typically do require a generator, some smaller garden parties may not, your marquee company should be able to advise on this.
There is a British Standard BS7909 that event electrics should be installed to, your marquee company should be able to supply a solution that meets this standard or advise of an appropriate company that does.
Do I need a refrigerated trailer for my event?
This will depend on your caterer's and bar company’s needs - have a chat with them.

Are your marquees safe?
We are proud to offer our own in - house maintenance programme ensuring that all our equipment is regularly checked and kept in good working order. Our marquees are manufactured to the highest standards and meet the necessary fire resistance guidelines and health and safety requirements. Our professional team are highly trained and adhere to our health and safety policy.
Can your marquees withstand strong weather conditions?
Our marquees are fully waterproof and supplied from some of the World’s greatest manufacturers offering sound piece of mind to our clients. They can be used all year round, in all seasons. We carefully monitor the weather and in extreme conditions will take the necessary steps required for a particular build.
Will my garden/grass be damaged by a marquee?
We take care at all times and will respect a client’s property, site or garden. It is difficult to avoid any discolouration to the grass however this is usually minimal as the marquee is only in situ for a few days. The grass will normally recover very quickly.
How do you secure the marquee to hard standing?
If we are unable to drill into the surface or attach to a building to secure the marquee, the use of weights will be required.
We use large concrete or water weights (which are filled on site, access to a fire hydrant would be required).
What lighting is available?
We supply a wide range of lighting options designed to enhance your marquee event to create a mood or ambience.
These include chandeliers, uplighters, LED uplighters, pea lighting, festoon lighting, HQI lighting, star lighting and more. We also supply Garden Lighting to light buildings, trees or just simply illuminate an access pathway. Seeking something different? Get in touch, we’re happy to help.
Can the marquees be opened up if the weather is fine?
Yes, our team will show you how to open up the sides of the marquee for your event should you wish to do so. Care must always be taken to close the marquee again after use.
Do I need to take out insurance for my event?
Although we hold the necessary business insurances, once the marquee and equipment is left on your site, you would be liable in the event of any damage caused.
We would recommend taking out insurance to cover your event including the marquee and equipment, chat to us if you would like further advice and guidance.
I don’t have a site for my event, can you help?

I have a plot of land and wonder if it’s suitable for a marquee, can you help?
Yes, we offer a free, no obligation site visit service and will meet with you to assess your site for suitability.
Can marquees be erected onto an uneven surface?
Yes this is possible, however it will depend on whether flooring is required, then an alternative type such as cassette flooring can be used.
I have my own gazebo/marquee but need extra furniture can you help?

Do you provide luxury toilet hire?
Yes we can supply luxury toilet hire ranging from single porta loos to 2+1 or 3+1 luxury loos.
My caterers need a separate catering tent, do you provide this?
Yes we can supply a separate catering marquee, with or without flooring or lighting. We can also help with catering equipment hire.
Do I need to have flooring in the marquee?
Whether you have flooring or not, is up to you and the type of event. Our marquees can be supplied with or without flooring. Our standard flooring includes a base wooden floor and choice of new carpet (wide range of colours available to suit any theme) or used carpet (cheaper option).
