Craig Walker began his career in the NHS, progressing to lead a major department in Manchester. Although he valued the responsibility and experience, his passion for the outdoors – and fond memories of working for a marquee company during his student years – pulled him toward a different path. Seeking a new challenge, he moved into the events industry and embraced self‑employment.
At just 28, Craig became the owner and director of a marquee and events business. Under his leadership the company grew steadily, eventually evolving into the two specialist brands known today: Marquees.com and Tow A Fridge. This structure allows the business to deliver both premium marquee hire and reliable fridge and freezer trailer hire across the region.
Craig holds formal qualifications in business and finance, supported by extensive practical training including first aid, harness and fall arrest, PAT testing certification, counterbalance FLT, trailer maintenance and servicing, and a Class 1 driver’s licence. Combined with decades of hands‑on industry experience, he brings a rare blend of operational expertise and strategic leadership.

Craig leads, supports and develops the team, ensuring everyone embraces the company ethos and shared passion to create special events. His approach is open, honest and people‑focused – values that shape the culture of the business and the service customers experience.
Spare Time
Outside of work, Craig enjoys holidays, family time and walks with the family dogs: Lottie, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and Lola, a Shih Tzu.
